Requirements

Experience of working as a Senior Care Assistant in a Care Home SVQ 3 IT skills an advantage

Responsibilities for

Lead the team of care assistants and train new staff. Complete supervisions for the care assistants. Record keeping. Monitor general health of residents and report any changes to the Nurse. Update the Nurse on residents daily input and output. Communicate with families. Deliver activities to stimulate and engage the residents. Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care. Support residents with meals. Medication administration. Special duties such as continence champion and moving and handling officer (training will be provided). Key worker duties for allocated residents
