Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving is essential. Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable, enabling the candidate to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs. Experience operating diggers or similar machinery is an advantage but not mandatory. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is required.
