Overview

We are seeking a dumper/ Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all traffic regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely fashion. Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles. Ability to dig into problems when they arise, demonstrating resourcefulness in finding solutions. Experience with commercial driving, holding the appropriate licences for the type of vehicle operated. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
