We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on site.

Duties

Carry out groundwork tasks including digging, trenching, and laying foundations. Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively as required. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, paving, and other surface works. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project goals are met. Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on site.

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is advantageous but not essential. Ability to operate basic construction machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers) is preferred. Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Valid driver's licence is beneficial for transportation purposes. A commitment to adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
