Job Description

My client are a lead company working on the management and maintenance of a significant contract dealing with one of the busiest roads within London.

They are looking for a Duty Controller with experience in a similar role to join the team in their London office. You will be based in both the control room and out on site when required, with shifts mixed between mornings, days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7Ensure safe and efficient traffic operations
\xc2\xb7Monitor the CCTV systems of major Highways Tunnels
\xc2\xb7Develop working knowledge of the tunnel SCADA system
\xc2\xb7Detect and assess incidents and emergencies using up to date technologies ans software
\xc2\xb7Record all information of relevant issues during each shift
\xc2\xb7Liaise with emergency services and other key contacts when necessary
\xc2\xb7Deliver clear and concise handover between shifts
\xc2\xb7Issue Works Orders as necessary
\xc2\xb7Communicate with Road Manager and other internal team members on all serious incidents
\xc2\xb7Maintain key holding for all vehicles
\xc2\xb7Update the vehicle allocation log

Requirements:
\xc2\xb7Experience within a similar role preferred but not necessary as training is provided
\xc2\xb7Controller room experience preferred but not essential
\xc2\xb7Highways and tunnels experience preferred but not essential
\xc2\xb7A desire to learn and develop within the role
\xc2\xb7A willingness to do rota based shifts, including some night shifts
\xc2\xb7Good communication and problem solving skills

Package:
\xc2\xb7Salary between \xc2\xa330,000-\xc2\xa335,000 per annum
\xc2\xb725 days holiday
\xc2\xb7Paid for training and development opportunities
