Join Our Team as a Duty Information Manager at Romford Roc.
The Role
Based in the Anglia Integrated Control Centre near Romford Station, you will manage the provision of customer information during disruption for the Greater Anglia network, providing both customers and Greater Anglia colleagues with accurate and speedy information updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and regular communication of incident messages to tell the story of the incident.
Keep on-call staff informed of updates and developments related to the incident.
Update the Greater Anglia website with relevant incident information and progress updates.
Communicate alternative routes and travel options effectively to customers.
Arrange and coordinate rail replacement bus services as needed.
Liaise with colleagues in the Anglia Integrated Control Centre, including Network Rail, other Train Operating Companies, and the Social Media Team, to ensure coordinated incident management and communication.
We're Looking For Candidates Who:
Have a friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with customers during service disruption and/or experience of a range of social media is
Are calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situations
Possess a "can-do" attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
Take pride in providing top-notch customer service on social media whilst updating the organisation on incidents as they develop
Have team spirit and bring your unique self to strengthen our team and foster a positive work environment.
Be able to respond to various challenges, often to difficult timescales, by working well within the Control Team and working with internal/external colleagues.
Are self-motivated and proactive when monitoring the live service with attention to detail when communicating to either the public or colleagues.
