Job Overview

We are seeking a confident, organised, and service-driven Duty Manager to work closely with the General Manager and support the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading teams during service, and ensuring every guest receives an excellent experience. The Duty Manager will play a key role in maintaining service standards, team performance, and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the General Manager to support the overall running of the restaurant.
Lead front-of-house operations during shifts, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.
Act as the main point of contact on shift, handling guest feedback, queries, and any operational issues professionally.
Supervise, motivate, and support the front-of-house team during service.
Ensure service runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with brand standards.
Support staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the restaurant.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company procedures.
Assist with rota management, shift planning, and team communication.
Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily checks as required.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A positive, professional attitude with a strong team mindset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.75 per hour
