The Role
We're looking for a
Duty Manager
to be the senior operational lead during their shift, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel and maintaining the highest standards of service. This is a
hands-on, guest-facing role
ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in leading by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the senior manager on duty, overseeing daily operations across all departments
Reception duties:
personally check guests in and out, handle payments, manage reservations, answer phone and email enquiries, and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
Restaurant duties:
support the front-of-house team during service, greet and seat guests, take orders, assist with service, and ensure a seamless dining experience
Organise and delegate daily staff duties, ensuring clear communication between departments
Monitor presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards throughout the hotel
Handle any guest feedback or operational challenges confidently and efficiently
What We Offer:
13.00 - 15.00 per hour
, depending on experience
40 hours per week
(full-time permanent position)
10% service charge
shared equally among all staff
28 days annual holiday
Closed for Christmas:
22nd - 27th December
Live-in accommodation available
- 200 per month including all bills, super fast Wi-Fi, and two meals per day on working days

About You:
Previous experience in hospitality or supervisory roles preferred
Confident leading a team and taking initiative
Strong communication and organisational skills
Guest-focused, calm under pressure, and solutions-oriented
Flexible and happy to assist across departments when required
