Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join an experienced management team to help oversee daily operations here at The New Inn. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service to each and every guest.

This role requires a proactive approach to managing other team members as well as customers, ensuring high standards of hospitality at all times. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of the pub and hotel operations whilst fostering a welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

PLEASE NOTE: Live-In facilities available if required.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Coordinate with all parts of the business to ensure a seamless and professional service. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity. Assist in training new staff members on company standards and procedures. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and reports as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential. Proven track record in guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. Familiarity with restaurant, pub and/or hotel operations and industry best practices is essential.
