Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee operations during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining efficient food production and team management. This role is crucial for the smooth running of our establishment during Day or night hours, providing support to both staff and customers.

Responsibilities



Respond promptly and act as the first point of contact in any emergency situations Manage guest queries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction, liaising with HOD's and/or senior managers where necessary Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the team and report shortcomings to department line managers Record absence, and punctuality issues and manage break times reporting any issues to the Front Office Manager Carry out regular patrols of all public areas and report any potential security, fire, or health and safety issues to relevant departments Carry out regular quality spot checks including compliance with finance procedures and room allocations. Address issues and stimulate improvement as and when necessary. maintaining both a great guest experience and ensure a seamless handover of any financial information, KPI targets, checking the guests in/out, take payments and audits for the Front Office Management team in the morning. With the safety and security of our guests and team as our highest priority, you'll ensure that regular Health and Safety checks are conducted as part of your shift with responsibility for any emergency procedures and evacuation, attending to any incidents, but with the least disruption and disturbance to the hotel operations as practicable and possible. creating a great impression no matter what time our guests are visiting our hotels.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hotel industry. Strong background in food production and culinary practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire others. Knowledge of bartending and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. A passion for hospitality with a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
