Main Duties:
Serve customers in line with high?quality service standards, always remaining helpful and courteous. This includes handling bookings, enquiries, and initial?stage complaints in person, by phone, or via digital channels.
Be able to work across all venue departments as required, such as reception, attractions, games areas, food counters, bars, retail points, and guest?experience zones.
Promote venue facilities, offers, events, and membership schemes to new and existing customers using methods such as phone calls, in?venue announcements, and distributing promotional materials, when required.
Assist with themed events, promotions, and exhibitions, including occasional off?site activities.
Carry out cleaning duties as instructed to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Report faults with attractions, equipment, or machines promptly and accurately. To the Technical team on site.
Process transactions correctly, reporting any errors to senior management team. Ensure you record and document all error corrections and transactions.
Handle cash and token/credit floats responsibly and in line with training. Ensuring all transactions are recorded at the end of each shift.
Operate venue attractions once trained, ensuring safe and smooth operation. Be the trainer when required to support internal staff development.
Ensure stock is Replenished including vending machines, bars, retail areas, and prize counters.
Receive and check deliveries as required.
Work with the management and colleagues to identify opportunities to increase local market share.
Provide training and guidance to other employees.
Attend weekly management meetings with other managers. Give input and take away learning and information to cascade down to the team.
Carry out stock takes as required. You will have a dedicated stock line that you will be responsible for.
Complete machine or attraction revenue collections.
Conduct staff appraisals and participate in interviews.
Prepare staff rotas if required.
Complete Rota ready checks each shift and addresses poor timekeeping or sickness as required.
Carry out disciplinary investigations when required.
Complete end?of?day banking and associated paperwork.
Responsibilities:
Follow all training, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Ensure compliance with licensing, food hygiene, gambling, and health & safety legislation in line with company standards and training modules.
Accurately complete all required paperwork.
Manage visitors appropriately, including enforcement officers, contractors, and company representatives.
Handle incidents and accidents according to the venue's reporting procedures.
Open and close the venue correctly and securely.
Ensure all money is handled and stored securely.
Maintain security of all back?office areas.
Ensure floor rotas are followed and implemented correctly.
Check staff uniform compliance at the start of each shift.
Ensure cleaning rotas for bar, kitchen, and attraction areas are completed to a high standard.
Ensure all operational checks (bar, kitchen, equipment, attractions) are completed and recorded.
Maintain high standards of machine and attraction cleaning.
Follow the shift?running checklist throughout the shift.
Maintain a clean and tidy personal appearance.
Build positive working relationships with colleagues and management.
Ensure age?restricted policies (e.g., Under?25 policy) are followed.
Ensure excluded customers are not granted entry.
Ensure AGC checks are carried out in a timely manner at least every 45 minutes.
Carry out site audits when required to support brand development.
