Duty Manager/Playworker Opportunity

has the following vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced playworker:

Duty Manager/Playworker

Hours: 3 mornings and 2 afternoon shifts a week. Term time only (7.15am until 8.45am & 3pm until 6pm)

Will consider job shares so please make contact if you are interested in any hours

Salary: 13.20 per hour

Essential

Level 3 Childcare qualification/working towards or equivalent Experience of working with children Experience of administration Understanding the varied needs of children and their families Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality play care Understanding the issues of equal opportunities Understanding of Ofsted policies and EYFS Provide and facilitate safe and creative play Good communication skills Ability to work as a team member and demonstrate leadership skills Sound judgement and common sense Ability to work on own initiative Sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children

Successful applicants will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating after school care for the children attending Sunshine breakfast and after school club CIC.

All posts are covered by the Childcare Act 2006 and are subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure for a regulated activity and reference checks.
