Overview

We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our team at The Punchbowl. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality in bars, restaurant and/or pubs. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality experience while maintaining efficient kitchen and front-of-house operations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery. Leading shifts, closing and opening the venue. Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Conduct regular inspections of food production areas to maintain cleanliness and organisation. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Assist in training new staff members Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.

Experience

Experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or restaurant sector. Previous experience in team management, demonstrating leadership skills that inspire staff to excel. Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous for establishments serving coffee or beverages. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.

Pay: 12.61 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
