Our Dye Laboratory offers a fully bespoke colour matching service and we have been at the forefront of instrumental colour measurement for over 30 years and can match to colour space targets, Pantone references or physical samples.

We now have a great opportunity for a graduate working as a Dye Laboratory Technician to join us, working days, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm whilst undergoing training and then reverting to 6am - 2pm.

The role would suit a motivated and detail focused individual to join our Dye Laboratory team as a Colour Development Technician. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for developing colour formulations that meet customer specifications. Your work will involve selecting appropriate dyes and dyeing conditions, preparing shade matches, and creating final dye recipes for use in production. You will also produce sample swatches for customer approval.

It is essential that you possess good colour vision along with a good understanding of the chemistry involved in the dyeing process, coupled with good practical, problem solving skills, ensuring at all times a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained. Your communication and IT skills need to be effective, along with the ability to work as part of a team, or on your own.
