Job Description


We are looking for an EA & Communications Team Assistant to provide first line support to the Communications Director. The role will manage all aspects of their day to day activities and will represent them in both internal and external interactions.

This important role will be responsible for diary management, organising and preparing the Communications Director for all meetings and providing broader administrative support to the whole Communications Team.

Your day-to-day

  • Full scheduling of the Communications Director\'s diary, understanding how to prioritise meetings and engagements and ensuring diary is proactively managed.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, preparing itineraries and planning logistics for both domestic and international travel.
  • Arranging matchday tickets for the team when required and coordinating guests of the Communications Director in the Directors\' Box or other areas.
  • Managing all administrative tasks.
  • Attending any meetings as requested by the Communications Director, either on behalf of or together. Note take at meetings, ensuring these are accurate and circulated in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating, tracking and proactively following-up actions from meetings and correspondence, independently and together with the Communications Director.
  • Ownership of the Communications team master calendar championing collaboration and visibility across the team.
  • Coordinating and summarising key updates of the Communications Director\'s direct reports across football, internal, corporate and community communications to report to the Executive Team.
  • Assisting in the delivery of communications activities such as internal events and forums.
