DWF is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive L&D/Early Careers specialist to support the successful delivery of graduate development and training programs.



This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning Early Careers Team that delivers some of the largest early careers programs in the market.



The role involves supporting graduate trainee development across 11 DWF offices and 6 jurisdictions, working with various senior stakeholders and external education providers. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing and developing DWF's graduate trainee talent and will be integral in delivering newly qualified lawyers who will continue their successful careers at the firm.


Responsibilities:
Design and implement early career development programs aimed at supporting recent graduates in their transition to professional roles. Collaborate with internal teams to assess training needs and develop resources Conduct workshops and mentorship programs that encourage professional growth and networking opportunities for early career employees. Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, and continuously improve program offerings based on data-driven insights. Provide guidance and support to early career professionals in their career development, including assisting with CV writing and interview preparation.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

Essential



Previous experience working on/with development programs, including supporting a population of employees, overseeing a development lifecycle (Induction, performance review, performance management, coaching, exit). Experience advising senior stakeholders on a range of L&D and Early Careers matters including supervision, resourcing strategies and employee development. Ability to work with external training and education providers, preferably higher education and postgraduate institutions. Comfortable overseeing a population of 100+ as a primary contact and, working alongside HR specialists, dealing with all first-level ER queries arising in this population. Experience in planning and delivering digital training and multi-day events focusing on learning and development. Will have some experience/knowledge of the following: D&I initiatives, Mental Health Awareness, budget management and project management

Desirable



Legal or professional services experience, private equity experience, knowledge of a regulated environment CIPD L5 or graduate in relevant HRM or BM subject Experience working with Scotland and Northern Ireland.
