We are looking for an Analog Design Engineer who will enable us to design our next generation of PMUs, in close collaboration with the System and Platform Architecture teams. The responsibilities include contributing to key IP architecture definition as well as its implementation and verification. Support is also expected for prototype evaluation, production test and qualification.




Description





In this role you will participate in designing and verifying analog/mixed signal IPs including their specification for PMUs Design and Verification of innovative and best in class circuits for blocks like DC-DC converters and LDOs. Working on DfT strategy and implementation for all blocks with a view of improving performance and test time. You will work with multi-functional teams across Apple to support product development (Custom Layout, Digital Design and Silicon Validation) and mass production (Test, Quality and Productization), achieving efficient and aligned methodologies.




Minimum Qualifications



Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CE, EE, CS or a related field. Knowledge of transistor operation and device physics applied to Analog design Knowledge of basic design structures like voltage/current references and mirrors Knowledge of the design analyses methods such as small signal, feedback loop systems, control theory Co-ordinate projects with limited guidance from manager, with strong problem solving skills and a desire to learn Familiar with mixed signal mode verification methodology including Verilog-AMS Basic Knowledge of IC Production Test and Qualification Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well on a team, take ownership, and empower self and others


Preferred Qualifications
