Early Years Recruitment Administrator

position sits within our Early Careers (EC) Recruitment team, which focuses on graduate and apprenticeship recruitment across various global offices.



Working within a team of 11 in our Belfast office, you will have extensive contact with candidates, external recruitment partners, universities and colleagues in our London office. Given the nature of Early Careers recruitment, elements of the role will be cyclical, providing variety over the course of the recruitment year. Additionally, you will get the chance to work on ad-hoc projects to further enhance our offering to students and graduates.



What you will do





The

Early Years Recruitment Administrator

will help facilitate delivery of the firm's EC recruitment strategy, and support the candidate-facing work of the UK Early Careers Recruitment team. You will work closely with the Early Careers Operations Manager and other members of the wider Early Careers Recruitment team.Operational Support - provide administrative and operational support to the EC Operations Manager and wider EC Recruitment team Programme Management - support a range of EC programmes, building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that candidates are sourced, screened and offered in accordance with agreed procedures Screening - support application screening throughout the EC recruitment cycle, especially during the busiest seasons of Vacation Scheme and Training Contract recruitment Interview Management - source interviewers, schedule interviews and organise assessment days, gather feedback from interviewers and pass this on to candidates University Engagement - liaise with university careers offices, student bodies and brand ambassadors to promote awareness of A&O Shearman brand on campus Events - support with organising a wide range of events, including vacation schemes & other EC programmes and university & schools outreach Projects - assist as required with a variety of EC Recruitment projects and initiatives Expenses - collate and process expenses from event, interview and programme attendees Reporting - prepare regular and bespoke reports as required Shared mailbox - manage and respond to a queries received into the EC Recruitment mailbox Governance - adhere to established EC governance in terms of creating and storing programme and process documentation Travel - very occasional travel to London office to support with programme delivery (usually 1-2 times per year)


What you will have

Administrative experience in a corporate environment (desirable) Strong interest in developing your career in a HR / Recruitment environment Strong team ethic and able to work well with others Excellent attention to detail Very good organisational skills - able to structure and prioritise workload to ensure that competing deliverables are met within required timeframes Positive, pro-active attitude - eager to find, suggest and implement programme and process improvements Ability to work well under pressure and deliver during busiest times Strong communicator - written and verbal Ability to establish and maintain credibility with key stakeholders and specialist teams. Competent in Microsoft Office packages. Able to travel to London office 1-2 times per year to support with programme delivery
