We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Days in Custody Administrator to join our Administration team at HMP Thameside, a category B Prison located in London.
HMP Thameside is a category B male prison with a capacity for 1232 inmates. We are recruiting for an Early Days in Custody Administrator to support with administration for the first 14 days of an inmates time in Thameside. You will be chasing up letters from hospitals or follow up appointments for patients with pre existing conditions or who were under a team externally, locating medical records as well as other admin duties. This will be occasionally a patient facing role.

Monday to Friday - 9.00 to 17.00
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 29,837 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
• Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required

• English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
• Ability to prioritise workload
