Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in our care. This role requires a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with both children and their families.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety at all times.

- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.

- Facilitate meal and snack times, catering to dietary restrictions and preferences as necessary.

- Maintain a clean and organised environment, including play areas and equipment.

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

- Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them navigate social interactions.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as childcare policies.

Qualifications

- Must possess a chilcare qualification in accordance with SSSC.

- A genuine love for working with children of various ages.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

- First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous but can be obtained post-hire.

- A PVG background check is required prior to employment.
