Family Hubs Early Life Worker Are you passionate about supporting children and families?

Do you want to make a difference where it will really count?

This is a very exciting time to join the Stoke-on-Trent Family Hub Team. An opportunity has arisen to support the design and implementation of Family Hubs.

Stoke-on-Trent is one of 75 local authority areas to receive funding to develop a model of service delivery to meet the needs of children and families across the city.

Over the next two years, we will create a network of support for all families with children aged 19 and under (or 25 for SEND) with a special focus on services for children under 5.

We want to make it easier for families to access services, improve connections between the City Council and NHS and charity partners, and set a strong foundation for our city's future by giving young people the best start in life.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Please note that if an employee who is currently at risk of redundancy within the organisation applies for this vacancy their application will receive priority. If this happens you will be advised accordingly.

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees - a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed together.
