Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a vibrant, energetic and experienced Performing Arts Teaching Assistant to assist our wonderful and very enthusiastic 4-6yr old classes in dance, singing and drama. The right person will have a warm, fun and approachable personality that can make sure our youngest students enjoy their sessions and can fully express themselves in a safe and caring environment. They will also be able to keep discipline within the classroom and assist with fun and engaging lessons that fit with the projects we explore each term. Training can be given for someone with the right energy and commitment but experience in teaching this age group would be preferred. We will also need to carry out an enhanced DBS check
Responsibilities
Assist in various performing arts disciplines, including drama, dance, and music, to early-stage learners. Support the Early Stages teacher with classroom management and student care. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation. Collaborate with colleagues to support student development and showcase performances.
Location: Chipping Sodbury School
Fridays: 16:15 - 17:45
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 1.5 per week
