We're looking for a dedicated

Early Talent Advisor

to join our

Early Talent team

within the People function, supporting the development and wellbeing of over 350 trainees across our Audit, Tax and Business Outsourcing departments. This is a

maternity cover role

running from

January 2026 to February 2027

.

You'll play a key part in ensuring our trainees are supported throughout their professional qualification journey. Acting as a trusted contact for assigned business areas, you'll manage performance reviews, oversee development pathways, and maintain strong partnerships with our training providers and professional bodies (including ICAEW, AAT and ACCA).

You'll also collaborate with Training Managers, Partners and HR colleagues to enhance the trainee experience - from onboarding and wellbeing check-ins to exam planning and career progression.#

Key Responsibilities





Act as main contact for assigned departments, managing trainee reviews, progression and performance cycles Liaise with training providers and professional bodies to maintain high-quality learning pathways Support onboarding, inductions and trainee wellbeing initiatives Guide Training Managers and Partners on performance and HR-related matters Contribute to early talent projects, workforce planning, reporting and internal communications Keep up-to-date with learning and development trends and support mid-contract reviews

About You





Experience working with trainees or apprentices in a learning and development or HR capacity Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills Organised, proactive and able to balance multiple priorities Knowledge of accounting, audit or tax qualifications (desirable) Familiarity with apprenticeship standards or qualification frameworks (desirable)
