Job Description
This role is support 2 children over the week who have additional needs. In our busy village preschool
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a safe, stimulating and loving environment for the individual children
Be a key worker for the children , complete all appropriate paperwork, liaise with outside agencies
Build positive relationships with the individuals, parents, carers, senco and management team
Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to individual development needs
Ensure adherence to the early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework and preschool policies
Monitor and record individual progress, providing feedback to parents/carers and professionals involved
Support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience
: Minimum of 2 years working with children in an early years settingQualifications
: Level 2/3 in childcare/early years (or equivalent)Skills
: Previous experience with Send children (desirable) , excellent communication, and a nurturing approachKnowledge:
Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, completion of relevant paperwork such as agencies and sendPassion
: A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their developmentWe require a cover letter and CV
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: Up to 12.45 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
