Early Years Apprentice
Job Description
Our nursery is dedicated to nurturing young minds and supporting early childhood development. We are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and learn through play, guided by our core values of care, education, and community.
Nursery Practitioners ensure the daily needs of children in their care are met, working in partnership with parents and carers. To ensure a high standard of care and teaching, by ensuring physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children is provided, implementing an agreed daily routine. This post is to train to this level and acquire a level 2 or 3 in childcare.
Duties will include:
Playing and interacting with children
Working as part of a team to plan and deliver excellent quality early years provision
Delivering and maintaining the nursery's ethos and values
Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of all children
Supporting children at mealtimes
Assisting in the daily operations of the nursery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
