We are looking for a hard working and dedicated person to join our amazing team as an

Early Years Apprentice.

We are a privately run nursery and part of a small group of two. In June 2023 we were awarded 'GOOD' by Ofsted and in December 2019 we were awarded 'Apprenticeship Employer of the Year for the UK' by our partners Aspiration Training. As a family run nursery we place great emphasis on caring for our staff and making everyone feel part of our Little Pips Family.

We will offer:

High quality on the job training in a GOOD setting. Full support through our mentor system and our Apprentice Manager. Paid study time / non-contact time each week.

We would expect:

Commitment to the role (level 2= up to 1 year / Level 3 = up to 18 months). An organised and forward thinking person. Positivity and enthusiasm. Good communication skills Great work ethos.
You will learn:

How to care for children from 0-5 years of age including feeding, hygiene routines, ensuring comfort, positive behaviour management. The key elements of Early Years Education including all related documents e.g. Development Matters, how to support progress through excellent activities, how to write observations, keeping records of progress etc. How to be an outstanding Early Years Practitioner.

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm - 36 hours with shifts arranged throughout the week with 20% of that as non-contact time to support studies.

Pay: Up to 16,754.40 per year
