We provide flexible childcare solutions for hard working parents and offer high standards of care for up to 110 children daily between the ages of 3 months- 5 years over 51 weeks of the year. We are conveniently located between Fleet town centre and Fleet Station.
We are currently looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Level 3 Nursery Apprentice at either of our 2 settings in Fleet- giving you the choice to work in a setting size best suited to your needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to begin your career within a beautiful environment and 'earn and learn' to become a fully qualified Early Years Educator.
After taking some time to settle into the role and get to know your team fully, we will begin your enrolment onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator Course. You will then be allocated an assessor who will visit you at Heath House/ Wentwood House every 4-6 weeks to set you work and to discuss your progress. Your assessor will also come in to observe your practice within the rooms. As well as the support of your assessor, you will be surrounded by a team with a variety of childcare related qualifications and experience to guide you alongside your studies. Our unique Apprenticeship program will allow you to do a rotation between each of the rooms to allow you to find the age group that you are best suited to.
The Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development course takes about 18 months to complete and will teach you all the theory and practice that you need to become a confident Early Years Educator. This includes: The EYFS, Safeguarding, Planning and recording activities, parent partnership, supporting children's development, Special Educational Needs, Health and Safety and many other modules.
Within the nursery, your role will be to get fully stuck in to all aspects of nursery life and observe and support qualified staff with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children. This includes understanding and following the nurseries policies and procedures, promoting diversity and equality and learning how to interact and plan stimulating activities for children of all ages (0-5 years).
Once qualified, you will receive a salary rise and attendance related awardas well as the opportunity to study further if you wish.
We provide all team members with Paediatric First Aid training when they are nearing completion, as well as other courses to aid your professional development. This is just some information about the role, but there is plenty more to discuss at interview!
