Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a nurturing and well-established early years setting, who is currently seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and looking to begin a rewarding career in early years education. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience while studying toward a recognised childcare qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum Help set up and participate in a range of creative and educational activities Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children Support children with daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, and hygiene Observe and monitor children's development, contributing to their learning journeys Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies Attend training and complete all coursework required for the apprenticeship
Requirements:
A genuine interest in early years education and care Friendly, enthusiastic, and a team player Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable with good communication skills Committed to completing a full apprenticeship programme GCSEs in English and Maths (preferred) or willingness to work towards Functional Skills
