Early Years Apprentice

We are looking to recruit a motivated, caring and ambitious person with a friendly personality. The candidate will be required to join a happy, friendly and professional team to train and develop into a highly skilled Early Years Educator.

The ideal candidate must have:

Ability to build strong relationships with young children and their parents. Ability to work as part of a team. A good attitude to learning and completing tasks on time to achieve an appropriate childcare qualification.
Duties include:

Assisting the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment. Supervising and interaction with children's play, offering an environment which is exciting and inspiring. Liaise and build strong relationships with children and parents. Undertake a variety of roles within the Nursery e.g. preparation of snack, cleaning of equipment. Working as part of a strong team to meet the children's individual routines.
Working approximately 35-40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm, hours will vary depending on the needs of the nursery. Pay meets the national minimum apprentice rate and successful candidates will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
