Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, fostering a nurturing environment that supports children's development and learning through play. The Early Years Educator will communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and well-being. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports shared goals in childcare. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall quality of care.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, demonstrating a drive to support children's learning journeys. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
