Early Years Apprentice
Job Description
The Apprentice will be responsible for assisting the nursery team to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5years . This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
To ensure the nursery is a safe environments for children, staff and others.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Manager/Deputy Manager.
To be a Key Person
To Plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early outcomes.
To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship.
To help ensure the nursery meets the Ofsted requirements at all times.
Other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, preparation of snack.
Qualifications:
To be qualified to start a level 2 or 3 qualification in Children and Young peoples Workforce or equivalent To hold or be able to achieve English and Mathematics GCSE at level 4 or above.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent verbal and communication skills with children and parents. Calm and Caring nature Able to work on own initiative Excellent organisational skills.
Personal Qualities:
Reliable, enthusiastic and flexible. A commitment to quality in all areas, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm, Able to perform under stress A creative thinker A good sense of humour.
Applicants need to be age 17+
Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: From 7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
Work Location: In person
