Job Description

We are recruiting for full/part time qualified and unqualified early years educators to join our wonderful and exceptional team at Rainbows Nursery and Pre-school in Hungerford. The setting is situated on the grounds of John O'Gaunt school in Hungerford, West berks.

Rainbows has 3 spacious playrooms and a sensory room, a large garden area where children grow their own fruit and vegetables and take part in Forest School sessions.

We are looking for in an Early Years Apprentice/Educator:

An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child. An ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents. A good communicator with both children and adults. A strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children. Reliable, enthusiastic and flexible. Creative and able to think outside the box. Able to have fun and have a good sense of humour. Understand play based approach in all children's learning and development. To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children

Experience and Qualifications:

Full and relevant early years childcare Level 2 or 3, or unqualified wanting to complete an early years childcare Level 2 or 3.

Job Type:

Full-time (40hrs/5 days per week), 52 weeks a year

Part-time (minimum 24hrs/3 days per week), 52 weeks a year

Pay: 25,396.00-26,728.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
