Job Overview

Due to our Nursery Expansion we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable part time Early Years Assistants to join our existing team.

The ideal candidates will have some experience working within early childhood care and education but a genuine love for working with children is more important. This role involves working across all of the rooms in our Nursery, working with children from 9 months to 4 years of age. You will be part of the teams helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. You will support the staff in managing daily activities, day to day tasks, be motivated to make learning fun and enjoyable, and help create a happy and enjoyable environment for the children and staff.

Working hours are negotiable, however we will reqiure successful candidates to be flexible to cover staff absences, either planned or at short notice.

You will have:

Previous experience of working with young children is ideal but not essential.

Commitment to safeguarding children, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills.

Commitment to making a positive impact on children's lives through play based education.

Be a team player and be able to use your own initiative.
