24,533 - 24,884 per annum (Scale 3, term time only)

Contract:

36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Start Date:

September 2025

Working Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 08:15 - 15:45 Wednesday: 08:15 - 16:45 (30-minute lunch break)

creative and dedicated Early Years Assistant

This role is primarily based in the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

but may involve supporting children in

Key Stage 1

when required.

What You'll Do

Work closely with the Early Years team to support high-quality, play-based learning experiences. Help create a calm, safe and stimulating environment tailored to the needs of young children. Support children's social, emotional and academic development through daily routines and activities. Collaborate with teaching staff, parents and carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child.

What We're Looking For

A

Level 3 Childcare qualification

(e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is essential. A

paediatric first aid qualification

is desirable. If not currently held, willingness to undertake training is required. A positive, enthusiastic attitude with the

resilience and commitment

needed to support young learners. Flexibility to support across both EYFS and Key Stage 1 if needed. Passion for

early childhood education

and a strong understanding of inclusive practice.
