We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that supports the development of children in their early years. You will play a crucial role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their wellbeing.
Duties
To implement the minimum standards in relation to Health and Safety partnership with parents and Child protection and fire safety.
To provide a high standard of physical care and to always ensure safety of children.
To regularly assess children's progress using observations to inform individual planning
To support leader to provide daily outdoor activities
To help plan resources using as many natural materials as possible to encourage all areas of development that stimulate children as part of a Reggio Emilio approach.
To support the staff team in developing appropriate approaches to understanding children's need for boundaries in partnership with parents within policy guidelines.
To keep completely confidential any information regarding children, their families or other information which is learnt as part of the job.
To communicate effectively with colleagues in the team and participate in team meetings.
To work in partnership with parents and families as directed by the Early Years Leader.
To maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe condition.
To inform Early Years Leader of any concerns about a child, equipment needing repaired or replaced or the work practice of colleagues.
To administer special diets and First Aid according to Sure Start Guidelines.
