We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and play. You will play a crucial role in fostering a love of learning in young children and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Lead activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, toilet/nappy change, and transitions between activities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and policies, maintaining a secure and healthy environment for children and colleagues.
Ensuring a safe environment for children to learn in and upholding Barking Riverside Explorers' safeguarding principles and policy.
Experience
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience managing groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs.
