Happy Days Nursery in Thornbury has an exciting opportunity for an unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our fun, friendly, and supportive team.

You will be working with our amazing team and children, embracing the beauty of observing children at play and seizing golden moments in the day to connect with children and support them in becoming strong, confident learners.


As Nursery Assistant you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum "Where Children Shine"

Your roles and responsibilities as Nursery Assistant would include:

Performance

Embodying our SHINE values (Support, Honesty, Inspiration, Nurturing and Empowerment) in everything you do Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work Being positive, confident, and honest Having great initiative and a "can do" attitude Knowing and upholding our policies, procedures, and established working practices

Outstanding Childcare

Being a "key person" for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times Using our unique "Where Children Shine" curriculum to observe, plan, and assess children's learning opportunities Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirement policies and practices
