Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (shift pattern within these hours)

Deputy Manager

to support the ongoing development of our setting and to play a key leadership role in our friendly and supportive team.

The Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the nursery. You will be a visible and supportive presence on the floor, championing best practices in early years care, mentoring staff, and ensuring that children receive the highest standards of care and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily operational management of the setting. Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, health & safety, and safeguarding regulations. Support the planning and implementation of a rich and balanced EYFS curriculum. Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Act as a role model for exemplary childcare practice and team leadership.
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

Level 3 qualified (or higher) in Early Years Education/Childcare. Experienced in a senior role within an early years setting. Knowledgeable and confident in applying the EYFS framework. An excellent communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills. Passionate about providing outstanding early years experiences. Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
