We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
Supervise and support children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among children
Manage daily routines within the nursery setting, including organising activities and maintaining a clean, safe environment
Lead and mentor junior staff or apprentices, providing guidance to ensure high-quality care and education
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance in compliance with regulatory requirements
Assist with administrative tasks related to nursery operations as needed
Drive company vehicles when required to support nursery outings or staff travel
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to organise activities and supervise staff effectively
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development milestones
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications recognised by relevant authorities (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) or equivalent
Ability to work flexibly within designated hours, including occasional early mornings or late afternoons if required
A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to create a positive learning environment
