We are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our early years team as a
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice
. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while working hands-on with children aged 0-5 in a nurturing and supportive environment.
As an apprentice, you will support the day-to-day care, learning, and development of children, working closely with qualified staff to create safe, stimulating, and engaging learning experiences in line with the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and delivering a wide range of creative and educational activities for children.
Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Observe, monitor, and record children's progress to support assessments and planning.
Promote a safe and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.
Help with daily routines including meals, hygiene, sleep, and outdoor play.
Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
Attend training sessions, complete coursework, and maintain an apprenticeship portfolio.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of care and education.
Requirements
Essential:
A genuine interest in working with children and early years education.
A willingness to learn, develop, and complete the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Friendly, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Desirable:
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or Functional Skills Level 2 (or willingness to work towards these as part of the apprenticeship).
Previous experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
