Job Description

Working immersed in a natural environment, you will be working in small groups on project based, child-centred learning. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their early years experience.

In the forest, beach and local natural environment, our award winning nursery requires a strong, passionate and dedicated team of bank staff educators to teach and learn alongside children in our Reggio Emilia inspired outdoor setting.

Ideally you will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification with experience in learning through play and learning in an outdoor environment, but this is not essential.

You must have a passion for the learning and development, social and emotional and the health and safety benefits of outdoor learning, an interest in forest school and beach school, and looking to further develop in a dynamic, small caring team.

In return, you will work alongside a team of professionals with interesting and varied experience, gain new knowledge and understanding and become immersed in the forest school experience.

Mainly ad-hoc hours but for the right person some regular hours could be discussed.

This position is subject to all safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, suitability to work with children, at least two references and an internal application form must be completed.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
