We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team, our nursery is based in the heart of Hanover and has been established for 35 years.

This role is pivotal in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. We feel our nursery is more than just an educational setting. it is an additional home where children, families and staff come together to create something very special within our community.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education, a desire to work as part of our wonderful team, and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and parents.

Duties

Support the team and room leader in creating a welcoming environment for all children. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development for their key group. To embed themself as part of our collaborative team. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as nursery policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is necessary. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour. A drive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Pay: 25,584.00-26,000.00 per year
