Duties

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage children's curiosity and creativity. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports emotional well-being and social interaction among children. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's experiences and progress, fostering strong relationships with families. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of early childhood education in line with current best practices.

Skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage daily activities effectively. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a nursery environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to manage individual responsibilities.
