Dottie Tots Nursery School in Churt is a vibrant, forward-thinking nursery set in the heart of the village, just minutes from Hindhead. We care for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 4 years, offering creative play spaces, inspiring outdoor learning, and hot lunches, all with a focus on "developing a love for learning."

The Role



We are looking for a passionate and dedicated

Early Years Educator

to join our fantastic team. As part of our highly skilled and supportive staff, you will play a key role in delivering inspiring, high-quality early education and care.

You'll help create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. Working closely with colleagues and families, you'll plan engaging activities, support individual needs, and ensure that every child thrives and reaches their full potential.

We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and those looking to further develop their early years career.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality play and learning experiences based on children's interests and development. Support the wellbeing, learning, and development of all children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team. Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to planning and documentation in line with the EYFS. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment, following safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies. Work collaboratively as part of a team to support the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified:

Minimum Level 2 in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 3 preferred).

Passionate:

A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.

Creative & Reflective:

Able to plan engaging experiences and continually improve practice.

Team-Oriented:

A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

Knowledgeable:

Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding principles.

Caring & Nurturing:

Committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where children can flourish.
