Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced
Early Years Educator Level 3
to join our warm and welcoming nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood development and committed to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children to thrive.
As a Level 3 Educator, you will play a key role in supporting each child's learning journey through creative play-based learning, building strong relationships with families, and contributing to a high-quality curriculum that fosters independence, confidence, and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and implement exciting and age-appropriate activities that support children's learning through play.
Observe, assess, and track children's progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintain accurate records of children's development, learning journals, and daily logs.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress and wellbeing.
Ensure the nursery complies with health & safety, food hygiene, safeguarding, and all regulatory requirements.
Mentor and support junior staff members, sharing best practices and contributing to staff development.
Work collaboratively with the team to plan and review curriculum activities and routines.
Essential Qualifications and Skills

Level 3 Qualification
in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
? Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
? Up-to-date training in
Safeguarding
,
First Aid
, and
Food Hygiene
(or willingness to complete prior to starting).
? Excellent understanding of EYFS and early childhood development.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
? Warm, caring, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for working with young children.
? Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable (but not essential)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (advantageous for outings or staff cover).
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience preparing for inspections.
Additional certifications in SEND, Sign Along, or other relevant areas are a bonus.
