Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. You will play a key role in guiding children's learning through play and ensuring their wellbeing.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children. Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure continuity of care. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and sharing insights with parents. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early years education, preferably within a nursery setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team when required. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks and best practices. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play-based activities. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are desirable but not essential.

Pay: 12.26 per hour
