Early Years Educator
Job Description
We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Educator, however, we would consider a Level 2 qualification with at least 2 years post-qualification experience with willingness to train towards Level 3.

We have a maximum of 10 children in the room and maintain high levels of staff:child ratios to ensure safety and quality.

You must be available to work shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00 pm. 40 hours per week plus 1 hour paid lunch break.
(Salary subject to, age and experience (additional pay supplements for key person and staff with additional responsibilities)
All candidates must have:
Minimum full and relevant, Level 2 Early Years qualification (min 2 years post-qualification experience and willing to train to Level 3)
A sound knowledge of child development
A sound knowledge of the EYFS framework with observation, assessment and planning knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including written and spoken English
Clear Enhanced Disclosure (police check)
It would be an advantage for candidates to have:
Key Person experience
Access to own transport
Current First Aid Certificate
Recent Safeguarding training
Good ICT skills
Knowledge of Tapestry Online Learning Journal
