Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that support children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and milestones. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to ensure consistency in teaching approaches and curriculum delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma). Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being. Ability to drive is advantageous but not mandatory.
