Job Description

Fizzy Fish Nursery is looking for Level 2/3 Early Years Educators to work 30-40 hours across 3-4 days a week all year round. We require someone that has a real passion to work with children, is hard working, reliable, friendly, flexible and enthusiastic. Applicants must also have good time keeping skills. A current paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training is desirable but not essential as full training will be booked where needed.

Applicants MUST have a minimum of 1 years experience of working with children and a minimum Level 2 qualification in early years; excellent organisational skills, a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); good computing skills; the ability to work as part of a team; excellent communication skills to share information with other Early Years Educators, parents and outside agencies.
The role will be to provide high quality care and education to our Pre School children. Duties include, but are not limited, to being a key person to a group of children - using Famly (online Learning Journey); supporting children with their learning and development; planning and participating in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities; liaising with parents, ensuring our policies and procedures are followed and role modelling practice to other members of the team and the children across the setting.

There are a number of training opportunities available for career progression.

Hours will be 30-40 hours per week between 7.30am and 6pm.
