Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care. You will play a vital role in supporting children's learning through play, fostering their curiosity, and encouraging their social skills.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote a positive learning atmosphere. Manage classroom behaviour in a fair and consistent manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with young children is essential. Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for early years education, with the ability to drive children's learning through play-based activities. Knowledge of child development theories and practices related to early years education. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to manage responsibilities independently.
